LAWRENCO is an artist and producer from Vienna, Austria. His productions are infused with electronic punk, four-on-the-floor and drum and bass beats. With raw, energetic and distorted sounds, LAWRENCO shapes his world rooted in the depths of the rave and the urban nightlife scene.

He started his musical journey with a ten-track EP titled “Repetitive Beats” which he wrote and produced during the COVID-19 pandemic. Music critics described LAWRENCO’s debut EP as a captivating blend of electronic influences and hip-hop, praising his distinctive sound, self-produced beats, vocals, and attitude. 

LAWRENCO’s single “Nightcrawler”, an anthem for nights and parties, became his first significant hit, receiving airplay and recognition on one of Austria´s largest radio stations, FM4. The song perfectly captures the desire of young people who long to experience the joy of partying once again.

LAWRENCO showcased his energetic performance skills on the main stage of Donauinselfest 2022.

In September 2022, LAWRENCO released his debut album “Mondlicht”, culminating a year’s worth of work. The album comprises 13 self-produced tracks, including an intro and an interlude, taking listeners on a cosmic journey through LAWRENCO’s artistic vision. It begins with soft, melodic synthesizer pop and gradually transitions into an up-tempo club sound, demonstrating LAWRENCO’s versatility.

LAWRENCO’s album “Mondlicht” gained critical acclaim and propelled him to perform sold-out shows.

Shortly after its release, his song “Komm zu mir” gained popularity in renowned scene clubs such as Berghain, Grelle Forelle, Institut für Zukunft, and DasWerk.

One of LAWRENCO’s notable songs, “Sterne”, delves into the subject of mental health, transparently reflecting LAWRENCO’s own emotions.

Furthermore, LAWRENCO collaborated with the well-known Hard-Techno DJ and Producer “NIEREICH” under his alias Primitive Remains, showcasing his versatility and ability to work across different genres.

LAWRENCO works with vocal coach DERGRUBE, known for his collaborations with artists such as Kelvyn Colt, Wavvyboi, TJ_Beastboy, and Dat Adam.

His self-produced videos and stage visuals exhibit a high level of professionalism, reflecting his background in Creative Computing from the University of the Arts—London and extensive experience in creating music videos.

LAWRENCO’s latest release, “Never Sleep”, showcases his new and current sound.

LAWRENCO moved to New York City to pursue a master’s degree in Songwriting and Production at the renowned Berklee College of Music and work on new music. Stay tuned!
